Quiz Overview

After installing the Quiz module, you must assign permissions before the Quiz module links will display on the Main Menu side panel. The setting for permissions to the Quiz module is located on the Local Permission tab of the Permission Group Details page. (Refer to Permission Groups for instructions on setting up permissions.) After changing the permission setting, you must logoff/on or press Ctrl‑F for the permission to load.

A quiz is a special type of document that will display the Edit icon  on the Document/Quiz List page.

  • Clicking the Edit icon takes you directly to the quiz.
  • Clicking the Document Detail icon takes you to the meta data of the document and displays a View Quiz Detail tab, which links to the Quiz page.

The quiz can be issued as a standalone quiz (user quiz) or can be attached to a document.

All questions on the quiz will be randomized within the pool of questions selected. The answers will also be randomized, so you should not precede answers with the characters A, B, C or 1, 2, 3. If you need to combine two answers, use the value of the two answers. If you need to use “All of the above,” use instead (for example) “All Included.”

Example:

Question:

The Final Clinical Report should include which of the following in the list of participants in the study:

Possible answers should be entered as below without numbers or letters:

• Sponsor

• Quality Assurance

• Study Director

• All Included

• Quality Assurance and Study Director

NOTE: Because of rotation, the order in which the answers are entered does not matter.
