Importing a Permission Group

After adding a new permission group, you are able to import and copy permissions from an existing group. This would be helpful if you had similar permissions for many different groups. Click the Import Permission Settings  tab.

You are able to copy the Global Permissions, Local Permissions, or General Permissions as a group or individually. You are also able to replace an existing permission group by utilizing the same function.

To import a permission group:

1. Add your new permission group, then click the Exit/Cancel button.
2. Click the Import Permission Settings tab.

The Import Permission Settings page displays.

1. 3. Select the Permission Group you would like to copy from in the Import From Drop-Down List .
   4. Select the Global, Location, General, or Reports checkbox options for the Permission tabs you would like import.
