Deleting a Review Group

To delete a review group:

  1. With the Review Group List page displayed, click the group name link.

The Review Groups Detail page displays. This page includes a Delete button.

  1. Remove all members, approvers, and documents. (Refer to the comments following this procedure regarding conditions for deleting a review group.)
  2. Click the Delete button.

You are prompted to confirm the deletion. If you do confirm the deletion, the group is removed from the Review Group List.

Review groups are a required field when adding a document; you cannot remove the documents from the review group. You must first reassign the documents to another review group before you can delete the review group. This will automatically remove the documents from the prior review group.

NOTE: Check for inactive documents when reassigning documents to a new review group.

If you are unable to delete a review group, check the following common causes:

  • Do you have Read/Write permission to the Review Group table?
  • Are there inactive documents assigned to the review group that you cannot see?
  • Are there documents that are In Review?
