Making a Job Inactive

You can make a job inactive if you would like to retain the information about documents and employees, but the job is no longer a working job. This would normally apply to projects and jobs that are temporary in nature.

To make a job inactive:

  1. Click the Job List link to display a list of jobs.
  2. Select the job you would like to make inactive.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Clear the Active checkbox.

The system will date and time-stamp the individual who deactivated the job. The job can be reactivated at any time in the future.
