Step 2. Set Programs to Run on Webserver Using the Scheduling Wizard

The programs that can be scheduled—OverDueNotification.cmd, ProActiveReview.cmd,  CycleNotification.cmd, DocumentExpirationNotification.cmd, ExpireTrainingNotification.cmd, and COTrainingComplete.cmd—are located in the TMS_Web\NotificationFunctions folder. You can schedule these programs to run as often as you like.

NOTE: If you already have the .exe versions of these programs scheduled, then modify the RUN and START in values on the TASK tab of the PROPERTIES display.

To schedule automatic programs:

  1. On the Start menu, click Administrative Tools.
  2. In the Administrative Tools folder, open Task Scheduler.

The Task Scheduler window displays.

  1. In the Actions panel, click Create New Task.

The Create Task dialog displays.

  1. On the Triggers tab, click the New button.
  2. On the New Trigger dialog, specify the schedule for when the program should be run.

  1. Click OK to save the schedule.
  2. On the Create Task window, go to the Actions tab and click the New button.
  3. On the Edit Action dialog, browse to and select the program file and then click OK.

  1. After the task is created, double-click the task to open the property page.

  1. Select Run Whether Used Is Logged On Or Not and Run With Highest Privileges .
  2. Click OK to specify the user credentials to use to run the task.
