Locking and Unlocking a Form

Once a signature is applied to a form, it is automatically locked if the Lock Form On Signature  checkbox has been selected when creating the form. If you have correct permissions (Admin), the form displays an Unlock Form button.

Use care when unlocking forms. All signatures will be reissued or deleted when unlocking a manual form. 

NOTE: The unlock feature is not currently available when using a workflow form. Once you lock a form in a workflow, it cannot be unlocked.

To unlock a form:

  1. Re-open the packet.
  2. Click the Unlock Form button.

The system prompts with the following warning:

  1. Click the Reactivate, Delete, or Cancel link.
    • If you click Reactivate, the signature activities will be reissued and the signers would be required to resign the form.
    • If you click Delete, you must resend the signature activities to the appropriate signees.
    • If you click Cancel, the unlocking of the form is terminated.
