Deleting and Inactivating a Field

You can only delete a field if it has never been used. If, after using a field, it is no longer needed, the field can be made inactive.

To inactivate a field:

  1. Click Form Design under eForms on the Tools & Setup window.
  2. Select the appropriate Form Group, and then click the Edit button.
  3. Select the field on the form to be made inactive.
  4. Clear the Active checkbox.
  5. Click the Save button.

To delete a field:

  1. Click Form Design under eForms on the Tools & Setup window.
  2. Select the field on the form to be deleted.
  3. Click the Exit/Cancel button.
  4. Click the Delete button.
  5. Click Delete in the Delete dialog box that displays.
