Free Form Text Editor (2000)
This field is represented by a hyperlink to a text editor, supporting entries up to 2,000 characters. If you exceed 2,000 characters, when you attempt to save the form, you will receive an error message indicating that you have exceeded your limit. It is recommended to not use this option if merging the data onto a Word template.
The text editor provides common text editing options, such as:
- Font sizes (the default is 12-point Times New Roman)
- Color
- Adding hyperlinks
- Bolding text
- Underlining text
When the link is selected, the text editor is displayed.
Users save their text entries by clicking the Submit button at the bottom of the window.
NOTE: When using the copy and paste functions from popular word processors, some special characters are not recognized. It is therefore recommended to copy and paste basic text and then use the standard features available in the text editor. For example, this text editor does not support all types of Microsoft Word bullets but will allow for bolding and indenting using special characters.
