Document Movement During the Review Process: PDF Format

The document movement if using a document’s PDF format to publish and route it is similar to using native format, with the exceptions described below.

Documents are moved during the following steps:

  • Publishing a document (adding it to the system)
  • Place in review (routing process)
  • Notify for signature (a PDF version of the Word or Excel documents are created and stored in the revision directory)
  • Move to current (issuing a new revision number)
