Setting Up Redlining

To set up the Redlining feature:

  1. Make sure that Word is installed on the client server.
  2. Select the Application Options feature (for more information, refer to List of Available Application Options.
  3. Select the DOCUMENT:STORE REDLINE VERSION link and set Option Value to YES.
  4. Use Track Changes redlining within Word.

You can have Track Changes automatically turned on by setting the Application Option DOC_AUTO_TRACK_CHANGES_ON to Yes. When this option is set to Yes, individuals with signature activities will be presented with a Redline icon  when receiving activities.
