Search and Find Relationship Items

Most relationships within the system are built using relationship grids like the one shown below. The grids are populated using the Add item, Delete Item, Search Items, and Load Items buttons.

To perform specific searches:

  1. For the particular search (Users, Departments, Jobs, etc.), click the Filter Search tab.

The Search window displays. The Search window for a User Search is shown below.

  1. Enter the search criteria in the fields. For example, for a User Search:
    • Select the fields on which to search (e.g., last name, first name, department).
    • In the open fields, enter the specific text on which to search.
    • In the Active field, select: Yes (to search only active users); No (to search only inactive users); or Both (to search both active and inactive users).
  1. After entering the search criteria, click the Do Search button.

The Current Search Criteria window displays the results. The Current Search Criteria window for a User Search is shown below.
