Deleting a Change Order
To have access to the delete function, the user must be part of an administrator group that has Read/Write permission or Read/Write with Delete to the location assigned to the Change Order. If the Application Option UI:USE_SPECIAL_DELETE_PERMISSION:30001 is set to YES, then the individual needs to belong to a permission group that has Read/Write with Delete permission.
To delete a Change Order:
- Select the specific Change Order from the Change Order list.
- Select the number of the Change Order to go directly to the General tab.
- Click the Delete button.
The system displays the following prompt:
- Click the Delete link to delete the entire Change Order, or click the Exit/Cancel link to return to the General tab of the Change Order.
When deleting a Change Order, any affected documents and activities associated with the Change Order will be available for assignment to another Change Order.
NOTE: Change orders have a status of Completed or Closed cannot be deleted.
