Canceling the Pre-Review Phase

Canceling a Change Order phase should be done with caution. Selecting the pre-review stage, affected documents are copied into a revision directory as a group. Activities are also created and deleted as a group. When you cancel this phase, it will delete ALL activities and allow for another round of review notifications. It will not delete the documents that are in the revision directory. Refer to Starting Over with the Review Process to remove ALL documents from the revision directory.

To cancel the Change Order pre-review phase:

  1. Uncheck the phase by selecting the Pre-Review checkbox on the Workflow detail tab.

You will not be able to uncheck the Pre-Review checkbox if documents are checked out. Expand the Affected Document option to display who has documents checked out.

NOTE: You must be the Administrator of the Change Order to cancel a change order stage.
 

The system prompts you to confirm the cancellation.

  1. To cancel the deletion operation and return to the Workflow detail tab, click No.
NOTE: Clicking Yes will NOT delete any changes made to the documents during the pre-review stage.
  1. If you confirmed the deletion of all activities, select the pre-review stage again to recreate new activities for another round of document changes.

Any prior changes will remain intact.
