Filter Search Example

Following is an example of a Filter Search.

To find and display a particular record or group of records: Enter the search criteria that match the records you are looking for, and then click the Do Search button. You can always clear all of the fields by clicking the Reset Fields button.

After starting the search, the search results are listed.

NOTE: In text fields on a Search page, you can use the asterisk (*) wildcard character to match any characters. For example, when doing a document search, if you entered *parts* in the TITLE field, only documents with the characters parts in the title would be included in the results.

To search documents that contain a particular text string in their contents: Enter the text in the Contents field along with any other search criteria to match, and then click the Do Search button. Documents that contain the text in the Content field, and match the other search criteria, are listed in the search results.

Refer to Searching for Documents for additional information.
