Specifying Whether Document Types Should Be Converted to PDF

To add a new document type and specify whether it should be converted to PDF:

  1. Click the Document Conversion option under Documents & Training on the Tools & Setup panel.

The Document Conversion List page displays.

  1. Click the Add tab.

The New Document Conversion page displays.

  1. In the Extension field, enter the file extension of the document type you want to add; remember to include the separator period (for example, .doc).
  2. From the Convert To PDF drop‑down list, select Yes or No to specify whether you want this document type converted to PDF.
  3. To save the new document type with the PDF conversion option specified, click the Save button.

The document type is added to the Document Conversion List.

NOTE: If a document type is not included in the list, it will default to No PDF Conversion.
