Taking Over a Review Group

If you would like to reassign a review group to another individual, you must have Read/Write permissions to the review group table.

CAUTION: Make sure there are no documents checked out by the user whose activities are being reassigned.

To take over a review group:

  1. Go the review group table and select the review group you would like to reassign.
  2. Click the Edit button.
  3. Select the new Review Group Administrator.

The following dialog box displays to allow you to reassign any open activities for the particular Review Group Administrator. Note that training activities for the individual user cannot be reassigned.

  1. Make the appropriate selection.

Each option will depend on the specific situation. For example:

  • Select option 1 if the individual were no longer working for the company and you would need to complete their work.
  • Select option 2 to take over only the notification activities that move the documents to the next phase (i.e., revision complete, signature complete).
  • Option 3 does not reassign any activities to the new administrator.
