How Users Are Linked to Training Requirements

Users are linked to training requirements on a document basis through the job setup. For each job:

  • Documents that are job requirements for that job are defined
  • Users who perform that job are defined

Subsequently, when a document revision is published, all users associated with that job via their training records are sent retraining notifications. When a user completes the activity to indicate that they have been trained on the document revision, a new training record is created with a current date and time stamp and their old training record will be archived.
