Form Packet Button Definition

Depending upon the options, permissions and defined functions that are set will determine which buttons appear at the top of the Packet Form page.

The possible buttons are:

  • Go Back Returns users to the prior page.
  • Display Report Opens the Form Report.
  • Generate Report Creates a new instance of the Form Report.
NOTE: After selecting the Generate Report button, the message “Please wait while the report is generated” will appear. The report will display automatically, or you will be prompted to open the report.

A Word merge template must be attached to a form for the Display or Generate Report buttons to display. The template is attached during the Form Design menu function.

  • Copy From Option set in Form Design. Allows copying information from a prior packet page.
  • Edit Depending on your settings and permissions, allows for editing the form.
NOTE: This button will disappear if the form page has been locked by a signature.
  • Delete Depending on your permissions, allows you to delete a packet.
NOTE: This button will disappear if the Form Packet is closed. With proper permissions (Admin to the location of the packet), you are able to reopen the packet and delete it.
  • Send Notification If using manual forms, allows you to send an activity to recipients. The Notify checkbox in Form Design must be checked for this button to display. It is usually checked only for manual forms.
  • Show Activities/Workflow Status Page Displays the open activities in a manual form and the status of the activities for a packet attached to a workflow.
  • Show Audit Trail Page If using audit trails, displays before and after changes to the form page. Audit triggers scripts must be executed to utilize this feature.

  • Workflow This is the next step of a form that is attached to a workflow. The button verbiage is defined in the workflow step.
